The Awana program is divided into several clubs, according to age groups. A typical night is divided into three parts :
1. Handbook Time (Reciting verses and learning what they mean.)
2. Game Time (Exciting games usually on the Awana circle.)
3. Large Group Time (Lesson from God's Word.)
Awana offers opportunities for your child to grow spiritually through Scripture memorization and a basic understanding of biblical principals and doctrines.
Awana also provides an opportunity for children to learn to compete as a team and not just as individuals. They will learn to win and lose with a proper attitude of fair play and sportsmanship. Each night the teams (Red, Blue, Green, & Yellow) compete for points to see which one will emerge the nights winner!
Throughout the year your child will have the opportunity to earn awards to display on their uniforms, as well as, the end of year awards, to recognize their accomplishments.
Each week we have a different theme, where your child may be asked to bring certain items or "dress" certain ways to go with the themes. Your child can earn points for their team by participating. The themes will be updated each week on this site, as well as fliers sent home with clubbers.
